Ransomware Attack

On March 23, 2022, Mountain Counseling & Training, Inc. learned of a ransomware attack that affected electronic client health records housed within Electronic Health Record “Clinitrak”, a product of Clinivate, LLC. Private health data may have been accessed. Mountain Counseling & Training, Inc. has worked with Clinivate, LLC and the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health to identify mitigation efforts and protections for affected clients. Clinivate, LLC engaged Kroll Cyber Security Services to reinstate server security and has attained containment and threat actor ejection.

Notifications have been sent to direct adult data breach victims and the parents and/or guardians of minors whose information may have been accessed. If you are concerned that your or your child’s data was involved in the breach, please call (909)336-3330 to verify your data’s involvement.
