Lauren’s background is in education, and she has teaching credentials in special education and general education, along with a master’s degree in education. She spent 15 years working in public education, as a classroom teacher and a school administrator in both traditional and charter school settings. Throughout her time in education, Lauren consistently found that the one-on-one relationships she built with her students and with their families were the most meaningful and energizing part of her job. After moving to the mountains full-time in 2021, Lauren decided that it was time to make a big career shift to better align her passions and skills with her work. She will complete her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy in May of 2025, and is thrilled to be embarking on this new endeavor.
